T.30

  • Updated

In simple terms, T.30 is the language two fax machines use to speak to one another when transmitting a fax between them. In more technical terms, T.30 is the official ITU recommendation that governs every aspect of the procedures the sender and receiver use to negotiate session parameters and transmit each page of the fax over the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
